Bengt Christensson is Senior Planner at the Göteborg
Region Planning Authorities. He was earlier the Commercial Manager for Harryda
kommun in West Sweden. He was a long serving
Chairman of the ARC Business and Employment Interest
Group before being elected as ARC Secretary General
at the Annual General Meeting on 24th November 2004 in
Brussels. The Secretary General is the administrator
of the ARC and is responsible for its day to day
management and its finance. He also has a
representative role on behalf of ARC and is
responsible for the management, work and running of
the ARC’s Brussels Representation.

Helene Barbier is the ARC
Brussels Information Officer. She is the contact person for members who have
enquiries about airport related matters. She has an
excellent network of contacts in the EU and keeps
members in touch with aviation issues in the European
Parliament. She advises members about forthcoming
conferences and seminars that might be of interest to
them and supports the ARC projects and networks. Helene produces a regular newsletter
that contains items of regional news and the latest
