ARC Executive Committee Member Kostrzewa-Zorbas spoke in Göteborg on a sustainable Europe

ARC Executive Committee Member Grzegorz Kostrzewa-Zorbas from the Mazovia Regional Parliament in Poland was one of the theme speakers at the Swedish Presidency Conference in Göteborg 10-11 November on Growing together for a sustainable Europe.  
Mr Kostrzewa-Zorbas concentrated on describing small town strategies for specialisation and competition. He stressed that one important strategy for local communities in metropolitan areas is to have growth and development policies which are sustainable both environmentally and culturally. He also said that communities like this need metropolitan policy coodination to allocate resources for major infrastructure projects.  Read more»external link, opens in new window
