A debate was held at the Madariaga foundation on 1st February, between Ulrich Schulte Strathaus, secretary General of the Association of European Airlines, and Pieter Liese, German conservative Member of the European Parliament. Pieter Liese allowed for the inclusion of aviation on the Emission Trading Scheme.
