ARC initiated and has been of the partners in AIREA, (Airport Regions E-learning Academy), a program funded by the innovation in technology fund of the EU named “Leonardo da Vinci".
The Airea project has been effective for two years. The first phase has resulted in the production of a digital learning platform through social interaction structures, but also in best-practice and needs analysis from the participating partners. Participating partners in this phase besides ARC were Göteborg Region, El Prat de Llobregat, Tallinn City, Fingal County and Dublin City University.
ARC is now preparing for the next phase of the project AIREA and invites all ARC members and other interested parties to participate in the preparations for an applicaton of project funding for a larger project, with the working name "Airea Live".
If reaching enough support among the partner organizations, the new project Airea Live aims to further develop the platform for use with real-life students in several live locations as well as develop the course material.
