ARC (Airport Regions Council) is actively involved in various advisory boards and EU-funded projects, leveraging its extensive expertise in airport regions and regional policies. Recently, ARC has expanded its advisory board memberships, with the latest addition being the MUSE project.
MUSE Project Involvement
The MUSE (Monitoring Urban Security & Environment) project focuses on ensuring that Urban Air Mobility (UAM) services positively impact society. The key objectives of MUSE include:
Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establishing metrics to assess the effectiveness and societal benefits of UAM operations.
Methods and Tools: Creating comprehensive methods and tools for evaluating the impact of UAM on liveability and quality of life.
Addressing Drone-generated Issues: Paying special attention to the effects of drone-generated noise and visual pollution in European cities.
ARC, as part of the MUSE project's advisory board, provides valuable feedback and guidance on the project's work, helping to shape strategies that enhance the integration of UAM services in urban environments, ensuring they are sustainable and beneficial to the community.
