Are you interested in producing, drafting, and submitting European projects? Do you have good knowledge about EU funding and EU programmes? Do you want to further explore the world of the relationships between territories and airports & aviation activities?
Get a unique work experience with Airport Regions Council, in a flexible, innovative and friendly environment being part of a dynamic team located in Brussels.
Who we are
Airport Regions Council (ARC) is the association of regional and local authorities across Europe with an international airport situated within or near their territories. ARC brings together a wide range of expertise at the interface of air transport and local and regional policies. A common concern is to balance the economic benefits generated by the airports with their environmental impact.
ARC works through the involvement of its members and through a Brussels-based Secretariat. The Secretariat focuses on the communication, application, and development of EU-funded projects and advocacy. The person is meant to work in Brussels, within the ARC Secretariat.
What will our junior project officer do?
He/she will support the development of EU projects (including associated communication and events) under the leadership of the Senior Project Manager. Tasks will include daily communication activities (social media and articles about the projects’ activities), monitoring of EU project calls, monitoring of EU policy, technical and financial reporting, proposal writing, budget preparation and planning, and liaising with project partners, third parties, and suppliers.
