Challenges and best practices for safe mobility in airport regions

An airport is busy 24/7 and many airport workers including security staff, ground handling staff, aircrew, and many more, work night shifts or irregular hours. Safe commuting to and from work is a concern for workers, in particular for women working at airports. It is also a health & safety obligation of employers. However, authorities in regions where airports are located play an important role in providing safe public space and safe mobility for these night shift workers.
During the webinar, participants will get a chance to learn about the awareness-raising campaign of EFT “Get me home safely” specifically for the aviation sector, and discuss best practices at airports to ensure workers can commute safely with Airport Regions Council (ARC).
